Advocacy in Action: AquaSafe at the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance Day on Capitol Hill. There was a special focus on Safety Education initiatives.
At AquaSafe Pool Management, we believe that professional pool care goes far beyond crystal-clear water. Instead, it is fundamentally about safety, education, and community.
Last week, our team, represented by Morgan Kenny and Eric Satterfield, joined industry leaders in Washington, D.C., for the PHTA Alliance Day on the Hill. It was an inspiring day of advocacy, networking, and reinforcing our commitment to drowning prevention.
Championing Safety: We had the honor of hearing from U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz for Congress (FL). She is the spearhead of the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGB Act). She reminded us that the work PHTA members do protects our most vulnerable: children, the elderly, and the disabled. In addition, it ensures safety barriers and education are accessible to everyone, regardless of geography or socioeconomic status.
Celebrating 25 Years of Impact: A huge congratulations to Solenis on their 25th anniversary! To celebrate, they made a generous donation to the Step into Swim program.
Olympic Inspiration: We were thrilled to meet Olympic legend Rowdy Gaines. He is a tireless advocate for swim safety. He continues to prove that learning to swim is the first step toward a lifetime of water enjoyment.
Legislative Dialogue: We also appreciate Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY) for taking the time to speak with our group. He spoke about the legislative landscape affecting our industry.
Whether we are meeting with lawmakers in D.C. or prepping your neighborhood pool for opening day, our goal remains the same: excellence in service and unwavering safety. We are proud to represent the best of the industry. Also, we can’t wait to bring this energy back to the communities we serve this summer.
